Best instructor out there
As a mature learner and having had bad experiences with instructors in the past, I cannot emphasise enough how comfortable Danny made me feel from the outset and I knew I had finally found the right instructor. His style of teaching is so good that I didn’t feel like I was learning a new skill - I felt like I had been driving for years as I became so comfortable and confident due to his style of teaching, which is how to really drive in the real world - not just pass the test. I passed first time with few minors which was all down to Danny’s teaching style. Thank you Danny!

I came to Danny after having a negative experience with a previous instructor. He was highly recommended and throughout my driving experience he was so patient and kind and thanks to his teaching I managed to pass my test first time. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Danny and felt like he created a safe and fun environment to learn in. I really enjoyed our discussions and felt really supported throughout the lessons. His visual learning techniques such as using the whiteboard and iPad was particularly helpful in gaining a better understanding of the roads and I would really recommend him to others! Thank you so much Danny and I will be booking some motorway lessons soon!

Danny was a massive help for me in my driving experience! I started off very very nervous and didn’t have the best experience previously, however I found Danny and he was exceptional he helped me find my confidence back and I feel so much at ease with driving now. Passed first time! Couldn’t be happier!

I couldn’t recommend Danny enough, he’s been amazing throughout. For someone who planned a crash course, he has guided me throughout and made everything super easy. I’m still smiling, I actually had the best experience with him and I honestly am grateful for having him. Please, don’t hesitate. He’ll get you passed in a few weeks!
Very helpful driving instructor
I can't recommed Danny enough. His lessons were super helpful, he particularly helped me with my parking manouvers. He was always on time and always made the lessons very enjoyable. His teaching kept me safe on the roads and was very interesting. He sent super helpful emails keeping me up to date on booking tests etc. Such a good driving instructor and lovely guy. Have already recommended to many friends and will continue to do so.

Simply the best!
As a Canadian learning to drive in the UK - let alone in London, I was incredibly nervous, but Danny made the whole experience so much easier. He was incredibly patient, always calm, and had a great way of explaining things that made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. I now actually enjoy driving thanks to him. Not only was he a fantastic teacher, but we also had great chats, which made the lessons even more enjoyable. I honestly couldn’t have passed without him! If you’re looking for an instructor who is supportive, knowledgeable, and just a genuinely nice person, I can’t recommend Danny enough. 🚗💨
Danny has been the best instructor
Danny has been the best instructor! Gave me the confidence to drive well and safely enabling me to feel well prepared for the test but also post-test to drive on my own. Always going the extra mile with every lesson to make sure I felt confident with each stage of my learning with different techniques and adjusting to my learning style, correcting my mistakes but also commending me for good driving. A lovely person, chatty and friendly, always helping in every way he can and I can’t recommend him enough!! Thanks again😁
No hesitation to thoroughly recommend Danny
This is the second 5 star review I’ve left for Danny as he has taught both my children to drive. I would not hesitate to recommend Danny, his philosophy is to teach safe driving for life not just to pass the test. He lives by this and teaches about risk, speed and judgement. He went way over and beyond to support both of them to pass their tests and they are utterly delighted. Great communication, flexibility and such a lovely chap. I will miss seeing his happy face picking them up but we are going to book motorway and driving at night lessons. Thank you Danny!

Danny is an excellent driving instructor who corrected my driving habits and helped me pass my exam with confidence. His regular progress updates and weekly emails about available time slots made scheduling straightforward, and he was always easy to reach. Danny was punctual for lessons, and on the rare occasions he was late, he ensured the time was made up, showing great professionalism and commitment.

Danny was brilliant throughout and I passed first time. Most importantly, Danny is a friendly instructor who tailored lessons around my needs. I always felt comfortable and safe during my lessons. He encouraged steady progress whilst weaving in previous learning and gave me the confidence to overcome new learning and challenges along the way. I am in my late 30s and my only experience had been about 10 hours of driving lessons when I was 18 which I never followed through on as I didn’t feel supported by my previous instructor. Danny was considerate of my concerns before starting and very helpful in scheduling lessons around my work and toddler. I found communication easy and he was very reliable, there were only a few occasions that he was late due to traffic and this time was always more than made up for. I always looked forward to the lessons, and found Danny’s lesson plans exciting without being too tiring by mixing driving and manoeuvres well. He was very good at building confidence as he would offer praise for good driving and would clearly identify and explain mistakes or improvements whilst allowing me to move past the negative swiftly. I would ask lots of specific questions which Danny always had an answer for and would often visually draw or use his iPad to explain and as a visual learner this was very helpful. We would often chat during the lessons, which I know is not what all instructors do, but I found this useful to manage my nerves. If I needed to focus, for example at a roundabout or junction, I would simply just stop talking and pick up the conversation later. Everyone is different, but personally sitting in a car for two hours every week with the same person in silence would have been strange and off putting. Danny was always transparent about costs and timings, sending out availability each month and allowing me to book in advance as I would pay for a number of lessons as a bundle. Unfortunately, with the long waiting times for tests in London I had to break the lessons with a long summer holiday but Danny encouraged me to reduce the lessons we had just before leaving and building them up when I returned with a ramping up before my test. I felt Danny was honest and realistic about expectations and would try to get me value for money, by not encouraging unnecessary lessons whilst being tactical about when to do them. I would highly recommend Danny to anyone looking to learn or if you have had a bad experience in the past that has stopped you from continuing. Thanks for all your support Danny!
Danny is kind and compassionate
Danny is kind and compassionate and an amazing teacher, I couldn't recommend him more. As my 5th driving instructor I was worried that I had bad luck, but my time with Danny was anything but. With my previous instructors the lessons always felt intense with no structure, I would do something wrong and they would make me very upset. They were also unreliable by changing my lesson dates and times constantly. Danny has a great positive attitude which reflects in his lessons, always complimenting when something goes well rather than telling me off for doing something wrong. I had a lot of anxiety with driving due to my pass experience but Danny created a safe and understanding learning environment for me and helped me over come those fears. Each lesson is tailored to you and what you want to learn so if you want to spend a hour in a parking lot practicing, he will accommodate. He has vast knowledge of the local area and more, I was always impressed with the routes he took me on. His communication was always amazing, I always got a text or call back within a few hours. I got regular email updates about how his other students were doing and how many passes Danny achieved, which I found reassuring. Switching from a manual to automatic car was something I also had alot of reservation over, wondering if not having a full license would be an issue but Danny was reassuring to that to. He was always on time and if asked before the lesson is always accommodating with pick up and drop off points which is super helpful, especially as my office days are only twice a week. He wants to teach you to drive safe for like rather than just ticking boxes to get you to pass which I think has made me a better driver. Overall, I would recommend Danny to any new driver, he's accommodating and passionate about his job, full of great stories to make your drives fun but knows when he needs to step in. Once I have my own car I will be adding Danny for some support on motorway driving to help build my confidence up on the bigger roads. I will miss my time with Danny but I will be forever grateful to him for helping me achieve this milestone in my life. I will be framing my driving certificate to hang on the wall of my house, and I will now remember driving to be a good experience with Danny. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Thoroughly decent chap and brilliant instructor
Danny is a great instructor and has taught both my son and daughter to drive safely. Whilst passing the test is clearly a focus Danny’s ethos is about instilling safe driving habits for life. He is punctual and considerate and has gone above and beyond, for example fitting lessons in at the last minute before a test cancellation came up. I got Danny’s name from the app Nextdoor where he had lots of brilliant reviews and I could not agree more. I am about to book night driving and motorway lessons as well so continue to work with him. I am so thrilled with my driving experience with Danny! I passed my test first time and that was thanks to his fantastic teaching methods. I started out as a nervous driver but Danny made me feel safe in the car whilst teaching me all the key techniques along the way and how to drive safely and correctly. Excellent Instructor – Five star!
I have nothing but good words to say about Danny and my experience of him being my driving instructor. I cannot even begin to compare my previous experience to learning with Danny. Having just passed successfully on my first attempt, I have to praise him for his absolute patience, ability to communicate with comfort, care and in a way that resonated with me. Danny listens to you and shows you great respect, enabling me to focus on all he is guiding me through, the sharing of his ample knowledge and I feel he was able to channel the strengths in my driving to encourage and support me. I have always felt safe and secure with Danny, both sharing a vehicle and in his teachings. He has supported me all the way, his communication is excellent and always quick to respond to lesson bookings, monthly availability and general useful information. Danny is strict with his timings and I have never been let down. On occasions when the traffic has been hideous getting to me, he has informed me, always made up for any lost time and is honest and upfront about this. Danny takes accountability for himself and his instructing and this has allowed me the confidence and ability to take accountability for myself as a student and most importantly - as a driver! Every lesson Danny asks what I would like to do, checks in with my progress and allows me to be open to areas of suggestion from him. The aftercare now from Danny has been on point which reflects the nature of his approach to his work. Whether I need any information on what cars to buy or a need to get back out on the road, he has already made contact. This has been much appreciated. Danny is a reliable, safe, honest and top-notch driving instructor. I trusted him fully even when my confidence wavered and in return, he reassured me, allowed space to practice and installed confidence in myself. I cannot recommend him enough. Best instructor out there!
No faults
Danny is an amazing driving instructor! After not driving for 1.5yrs after moving here from Oz, Danny helped me navigate the UK roads. He was always calm, even during my questionable fast and furious moments, and I always felt safe and enjoyed our lessons. Everything was explained very well, using whiteboards, laser pens, and pictures to back up what he was saying. Always cheery and encouraging. 10/10 recommend 🙂
Danny
Danny, has been the the most supportive driving instructor I could have asked for. Having had my confidence in my driving abilities depleted previously. He helped rebuild this confidence which resulted in me recently passing my driving test. He ensures you feel safe and supported throughout the lessons through his calm demeanour and when you make any mistakes he corrects them but without making you feel bad (by using humor). This results in a more constructive learning experience which is enjoyable. Danny is also value for money and if late always makes up the time. I have no hesitation in recommending Danny as an instructor:)
Fantastic driving instructor!!! 10/10
Danny has been the best driving instructor that I could have asked for. He is so kind and adapts teaching style to the learner. I passed first time thanks to him! He’s also great logistically, always fair with making up time, pricing, timeliness and picking up/dropping off home. Having had previous bad experiences with other instructors put me off driving but Danny took it step by step with me and let me take it at my own pace which made me feel really safe and supported. 100% would recommend to anyone especially those suffering with driving-related anxiety as he can definitely help overcome it!

Honestly, Danny I can’t even begin to tell you how much I appreciate you. The best driving instructor there is, with the year I’ve had you have managed to always make it better with your lessons. Best driving instructor!
Danny is amazing! I am/was an experienced US driver and Danny was the perfect instructor for me. He is completely relaxed, wonderfully funny and an absolute delight to be locked in a car with for 2 hours at a stretch. I was incredibly anxious about my driving skills, but Danny boosted my confidence and made sure I was test ready. More important than examine ready, Danny made sure I was a qualified driver and together we determined when I was ready for my examine. He is compassionate and understanding so you often forget that you’re in constant learning mode. There are not enough words of appreciation that I can express. Passed first time!

Danny is a great driving instructor I would highly recommend him to any friends and family. I enjoyed every lesson with him and if he is ever late by a couple minutes due to traffic he would always make up for it without a doubt he got me my license with in 2 months from when I turned 17 I can’t recommend him enough. 5 stars

Danny was a brilliant driving instructor! He made the lessons a pleasure and i would look forward to our lessons every week. He made me feel comfortable when driving and was always positive. Danny has been the most incredible instructor. Every little detail he puts into our lessons has helped my driving and confidence. I had some previous driving experience and Danny has far surpassed my expectations, I’ve learnt more with him in a short amount of time than I did with my previous instructor.

Danny is not only an amazing driving instructor, but he is also such a genuinely kind and caring person. Always organised with lesson plans and detailed feedback afterwards, and always made the lessons enjoyable as well as safe. You can tell he has a passion for teaching his students and thanks to him I was able to pass first time! Absolutely brilliant with organising lessons and being flexible when needed, and would always ensure we got the full lesson time. Danny was absolutely awesome!
Danny was absolutely awesome! He was so thorough, so passionate and so enthusiastic, it was contagious. He made the lessons fun, made my daughter feel safe and confident and was just really easy to deal with. The detailed feedback and backing that he gave, as well as the flexibility around lessons and changes needed and so on was so refreshing. I would highly recommend Danny to anyone, so grateful for such a great experience.
Detailed and Impatient
Danny is a very detailed and patient instructor who teaches and guides you every step from seat positions, mirror usage, speed control, maneuver to hazard alerts. He did some intensive lessons with me last year and prompted me in every aspect when driving to let me have a better understanding on what to pay attention to on the roads. Thank you for his encouragement as well.

EXCEPTIONAL! Best Instructor OUT THERE! Danny has really helped me come out of my shell, I was an anxious person who doubted myself with everything. He has an amazing technique and has a calming approach to his teaching. He is great at explaining driving for life and is really friendly. He has helped me push myself out of my comfort zone, and now I am able to get in my car and drive confidently. You were great when planning lessons and would accommodate around my schedule. Well what can I say about danny,he is the best teacher I could have asked for!as a nervous learner who tried driving when I was 17 and did not enjoy driving so leaving it for many years ,to finding danny ,enjoying driving and passing 1st time with danny at the age of 32 ,danny made me feel relaxed if I didn’t quite get something he would change it up and think of new ways to show me untill it clicked and also he made learning fun!he really is the best out there !i can’t thank him enough for his patience ,kindness and for me being so caring !he really is one of a kind!
Best instructor i could ask for!
Danny is the second instructor i have used but is the first to make me feel at ease and comfortable when driving. He talked me through different areas of driving before getting me to try them which I found helped. After our lessons he sends out an email of what went well and what we will do in the next lesson, it took some of the anxiety away because it was easier to see what I need to work on rather then rely on memory of what was said during a lesson. Would definitely recommend Danny!!
Amazing !
What can I say !! From start to finish, Danny has been absolutely amazing with my daughter helping her to learn to drive. After every single lesson I received a email report from Danny with progress which was amazing. Today I passed my test first time with 0 minors in chertsey using one of bill plants driving instructors, His name is Danny Jones, what an amazing instructor he is! He is the second instructor I have used and I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough! He kept me relaxed when I was behind the wheel and taught me how to perfect every thing that I needed to know about driving and how to do it safely! He’s a credit to the company he works for!
