Each Lesson is normally 2 hours long as that is the Optimum for learning

No – Unfortunately not, I do suggest you book a single lesson before any Block booking to ensure you are comfy with myself and the car

Yes- Please see my current pricing and if you wish to book a bespoke course please contact me directly

Typically No – my role is to teach safe driving for life and learning over a longer period of time allows better access to traffic flows, weather and other scenarios outside of my control. It is also difficult when my diary is busy with other students.

If you require an intensive course and I can deliver it I will certainly try my best.

Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss any requirements.

I only offer Automatic courses at present but plan to offer manual in late 2026. between now and then I do work with a partner company whose details I can provide should you wish.

On occasion it may be possible, however the insurance will need to be in place, including my own personal insurance. Please contact me directly to discuss.

No- Sorry I do not hire my car out for tests only.

For me to be able to take you to test you will need to have passed a Mock test with me and completed a number of hours training with my prior to test (“Active Student”)

Yes, in every lesson we often speak of signs and road markings.

I can deliver on-line sessions of an evening should it be required. These are at an additional cost and I typically only deliver when an Active Student needs additional support.

There are multiple apps/books available for this support please feel free to contact me directly with any queries.

Yes- I am often asked for a refresher type course or bespoke learning such as Motorways or parking. Please contact me directly with any requirements.

Yes is the simple answer, however please note:

I can not take anyone to test in my car that has not passed a Mock Test with me. We can undertake as many as you want but the cut of point for test is currently 12 working days prior to your test date. if we have not taken a Mock by that point, or we have not achieved a successful Mock, I am afraid I can not use my car for your test.

Yes – very, I try to mimic the real test conditions as best I can, this provides the student with an opportunity to get a sense for the test. Reducing nerves and more importantly identifying any outstanding issues that need resolving before test.

No, not really but I would caution that the last Mock Test is the basis on which we judge the readiness for test. Also they mimic the test and have little training content within the Hour or so, therefore i prefer to use them as a tool for test preparedness. I am always flexible so if you are worried about any aspect please chat to me and we can agree a suitable way forward.
